Montserrat Progressive Society of Boston, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1934 and incorporated in 1938. The objective of the organization is to work for the general welfare of our community and specifically for the aide and betterment of deserving students through scholarships.

The Society was founded on the principle that we are “our brothers keepers”. The main criteria then and now are to assist those in need, take care of the sick, help in the upliftment of our members socially and morally. To render possible assistance to Montserratians, they’re descendants, our community and the awarding of yearly scholarships to deserving students who have been accepted in four colleges.

In the Boston community, the Society also makes regular visits to the shut-ins, donations are also made during time of bereavement and also to other non-profits in need.
